I’ve been in Nordhaven a few times and those were with the former King of Medieval England. I also don’t remember staying very long in there as well.

Today, I went to Nordhaven to take just one quick and final look at the place before it closes. I’ve also taken a few snapshots of the place. The snapshots can be viewed below.

The photos aren’t that good because the viewer I was using that time was Cool SL Viewer with the legacy renderer. It has no windlight making faster and more stable with my computer.

Feudal Nippon's First Year Anniversary Celebration

It is going to be a fun filled week for everyone at Feudal Nippon and if you are not too busy this week then why not drop by to join the celebration.

Back in Medieval England, the King prepared for war. He summoned his messengers and sent messages to all his knights to come defend the kingdom. Unfortunately, the King had no choice but to defend the kingdom alone.

With his Queen by his side, the King of Medieval England was successful in fending off the invaders but he failed in protecting the kingdom. One of the invaders was successful in setting the kingdom ablaze as the King of Medieval England did to Nordhaven.

The battle ended as fast as it started but that does not mean the war between Medieval England and Nordhaven is over. I am quite certain that both side has not yet forgiven each other for the destruction both of them has done to one another. The flames may have died down but the fury and anger that ignited it is still there.

As a foreign observer, I did not take part in the conflict but you can. Become a Knight in Medieval England and help defend the Kingdom against the Barbarians of Nordhaven.

Feudal Nippon

I just love visiting Feudal Nippon. The people are very warm, friendly and accomodating. Just a few seconds of my arrival at the sky arena, 10 or more people immediately greeted and welcomed me. I don’t know many of them but that didn’t stop them from being nice and friendly. LOL!

For the Group Archery Tournament, participants were divided into two groups and each group was assigned their corresponding areas on the sky arena. The areas where each group was assigned is found on each side of the sky arena. As I understand it, each group will have to shoot each other from that distance and location until only one remains standing.

When the shooting started, I didn’t know where the archers were. I couldn’t see anything but I could hear the arrows flying. I had to increase my draw distance to see what’s happening because the distance between each group was a little bit far. Using my camera, I was able to view and take snapshots of the participants in action but, unfortunately, a brief power failure ended my visit to Feudal Nippon.

I guess it’s fun when you are the one shooting but, since I was a spectator, it was a little bit boring to watch. Action was almost non-existent. Most were just standing there shooting their arrows until they die. Between sword fighting and shooting arrows, sword fighting or melee combat has more action and it’s more fun to watch than a group of people shooting arrows at each other. LOL! Don’t get me wrong because I’m sure it was fun for the participants! He he he!

Anyway, because of the power failure I was not able to finish the tournament. Also, I wasn’t able to say goodbye to the Emperor of Feudal Nippon properly because of that.

Snapshots

I went to Feudal Nippon wearing a Gladiator outfit which I bought from JTL designs for only 200L$. I do have a Japanese outfit but since I was not going to RP with them I decided to keep my Gladiator outfit on and stayed far away from them. I just used my viewer’s camera controls to pan and zoom to where the action is.

Today, they are out to acquire an object from a dragon that lives on top of a mountain. The questors organized themselves at the foot of the mountain and then climbed up as a group. On top of the mountain, the Dragon awaits there arrival. The role of the dragon was played by Ryutatsu Yuitza and he was a mighty big dragon.

The questors looked very small when compared to the dragon but to initiate combat the dragon changed into a more human like form. The fight between the dragon and the questors started but the dragon was too strong for all of them. The dragon crushed them in seconds.

The questors prepared for their next wave of attack but this time one of the questors was given a special weapon that will help them in slaying the dragon. This time the dragon put up a great fight but eventually he was defeated. He then changed back to his normal form and flew away.The questors went down the mountain with the quest item in-hand.

I wasn’t able to follow the story afterwards but it looks like a lot of fun. I’m sure the story will continue and more quests will follow this one so if you want to become part of the story or any future story then drop by Feudal Nippon today.

From what he told me, the Geishas at Feudal Nippon are artist who performs dances, plays music and tells stories of old. They also serve tea to their guests and entertains them by conversing with them after their show.

Of course, my visit won’t be complete without any snapshots or pictures.

The Show

The show started at exactly 6PM SLT and although the performers were already on stage they didn’t start until the scheduled time came.

People from all over Feudal Nippon came to watch the Geishas perform. Among who came to watch the show were Ronin McGinnis, Daisy Dawg, Zack Kaul, Ken Manamiko, Roxie Elephas, Catherine Tsarchon and a few others whom I can’t make out the names.

The Geishas started their show at exactly 6PM SLT. On stage we have Satoharu Nakamura, Isis Siemens and Chrys Glaz. I did notice that Satoharu’s animation was a little bit out of synch with the other two dancers but that could be client lag on my part.

The audience sat there and watched the show quietly. You see, the Geishas were not just dancing. They were also telling a story.

The emperor, Ronin McGinnis, said that he loves watching the Geisha perform and he enjoys listening to their stories.

The Geishas tip jars were humming that night. Seriously, these ladies are making serious moolah. I wish I can make money like that whenever I dance. Ha ha ha! Instead people ejects me off their land when I start dancing. LOL!

One of the audience caught my attention. Her name was Neo9 Nightfire and she was wearing a nice photorealistic skin. Must be worth thousand of linden dollars. Nice skins are expensive. Even I can’t afford one. In fact, I’m still wearing a skin which I got from those freebie areas. LOL!

As the show progresses, more and more people came. The droves of people coming kinda made my client lagged like hell. The emperor said that the Geisha shows do attract people to come to Feudal Nippon.

The Geishas continued to dance as they tell their stories. Afterwards they’ll be serving teas to their guests and visitors.

Of course, it would look silly if they just dance there without any music, right? Well, they have another Geisha who played the music for them and her name is Aisya Destiny.

I stayed for about an hour before logging out for work and I was at the dock fishing all the time. LOL! I wasn’t in a proper attire and I don’t want to disrupt their RP by coming there in an Urban Combat outfit besides using the camera was good enough for me.
